GRADUATING SENIOR HEALTHCARE SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is for high school seniors going into healthcare.

HEALTHCARE SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is for college students pursuing a career in healthcare. Eligible applicants must have completed their freshman year of college and have been officially accepted into their program of study. Sunrise Foundation will accept applications from students originally from Bowman County, Slope County, Harding County, and western Adams County.

LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM

Sunrise Foundation partners with Southwest Healthcare Services employees. Eligible applicants must have been employed a minimum of one year at Southwest Healthcare Services in Bowman, ND. Full-time status preferred but part-time may be considered. If an employee has been awarded a loan repayment scholarship for five years, they will not be eligible after the five year mark. Only applicants who are currently using their degree towards their healthcare career will be considered for the loan repayment program.

 GRANTS

Sunrise Foundation grants financial assistance to Southwest Healthcare Services, as well as local first responder units and ambulance services. The generosity of many individuals throughout the years have made it possible to disperse funds annually. 

Applications are reviewed twice a year, with the first round in May and the second round in November. Grant applications must be submitted by April 30th for the first round and by October 31st for the second round.
